All Nigerian citizens are eligible to apply for free smart glasses from the AutoVision Initiative once they have completed an eye screening or automobile purchase at any of our approved partner eye clinics or automobile vendors. Eligibility is confirmed through a Proof of Medical Report (PoMR) issued by a licensed eye care practitioner to ensure every prescription is verified before smart glasses are processed.

1. Visit or book an appointment at one of our approved partner clinics.
2. Complete your eye screening and obtain a Proof of Medical Report (PoMR).
3. Submit your PoMR through AutoVision’s official platform or an authorized agent.
4. Once verified, your smart glasses will be processed and delivered — typically within 3–4 weeks.

Smart glasses from AutoVision Initiative are designed with advanced smart features and Advanced blue cut optical technology that:

• Reduce digital eye strain from long screen exposure.
• Support safer driving experiences.
• Integrate smart features for Bluetooth connectivity, hands-free calling, and music playback.
• Remain compatible for correction, reading, and distance vision.

Eye clinics and healthcare facilities can join AutoVision’s verified network by submitting an application through our “Become a Provider” form on the website. Approved clinics gain access to AutoVision’s referral system, patient management framework, and visibility within our adoption program.

AutoVision does not charge individuals for access to free smart glasses. However, all eye screenings and medical examinations are conducted independently by licensed clinics operating under their own professional standards. AutoVision does not collect payments, influence pricing, or interfere with clinic operations — our role is to manage access, verification, and delivery for users.

The standard processing time after submitting a valid PoMR is 3–4 weeks. This allows sufficient time to ensure lens precision, comfort testing, and final delivery quality. Applicants can use their PoMR to apply for free photochromic glasses to use before the smart glasses arrive.

Currently, only reports issued by AutoVision-approved clinics are accepted. We are in the process of expanding our partner network, and more clinics will be included soon.

The 3–4 week waiting period allows us to ensure your lenses are 100% accurate and comfortable before finalizing your smart glasses. During this time, you can use your PoMR to apply for a free pair of photochromic glasses fitted with your prescription — helping you adjust and confirm visual comfort before your smart glasses are delivered.
